As a **Game Master** (GM), you lie at the heart of Many Isles' activities. Our community wouldn't exist without you! Accordingly, we have a modest but growing selection of resources available to you.

> ### Becoming a GM
|
|
|
|
> It's easy to start running games. Whether you want to run D&D, onepage rpgs, are a total beginner or veteran, or even want to run a "[board RPG](https://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/322708/descent-legends-of-the-dark)", the socials are a perfect place to do so (and try out wonky new ideas).

> We call for GMs and share infos on [Discord](https://discord.com/invite/GFhFMxQFMk). Get the GM role by answering onboarding questions, or just express your interest and we'll assign it to you. :smile:

## Materials
|
|
|
|
All materials can be "ordered" for a Social by writing in the GM channel on Discord.
|
|
|
|
|
|
|

We currently have a small stock of shared resources:
|
|
|
|
- Tile maps, to set up a grid mattlemap
|
|
|
|
- Monster cards for D&D 5e, MM CR 0 - 16
|
|
|
|
Additionally, you can get easily get the following materials from private sources by just asking in the GM channel:

- Dice
|
|
|
|
- Playing mats / battlemaps
|
|
|
|
- Minifigures
|
|
|
|
- GM screen
|
|
|

## Wishlist

We currently have a Many Isles GM screen in the works, which all GMs will be able to use (and perhaps even get).

|

We're also considering to purchase some extra materials. You can always express your interest in some missing item, and we might use association funds to complement our shared stock. ;) |
